A monorail glass handling system is a specialized, permanently installed, or temporary equipment solution designed for cleaning, maintaining, and replacing glass facades, curtain walls, and skylights. It consists of a single track—usually aluminum—mounted on the building structure (façade, parapet, or ceiling), along with a suspended cradle (gondola) or trolley that allows workers or equipment to traverse horizontally and vertically across the glass surface.
